Today in my Chemistry class, my professor kept on stressing the importance of how atoms bond to give off energy. Being the hopeless romantic that I am, I couldn’t help but connect that to the friendships/relationships that we get ourselves into. Think about it, you and I are atoms and when we bond, we give off so much energy whether it be comprised of good vibes, laughs, passionate kisses, hugs so tight you can’t breathe, dilated eyes, whatever. Atoms also bond to become stabilized. Now think about that. When we’re on our own, left to our own thoughts, some of us go crazy. We can’t handle what frequents our minds during the day. We need companions to help us gain stability. We need that other person to vibe off of. That person who will tell us, “no you’re not crazy for thinking that” or “what the fuck is wrong with you?” We are like atoms bonding to give off energy and become stabilized. Think about it.
